ABOUT US
HopeBrook began in 2012 with a simple yet powerful desire: to help people experience the innate healing qualities that horses provide.
Jessica Wallbrown, Owner and Clinical Counselor, carried a deep passion to see people truly heal. Reflecting on her own journey, she recognized that both Jesus and horses had played a profound role in her personal transformation. This realization ignited a calling within her—a desire to connect people with their Creator and with His majestic creation.
With that vision in her heart, Jessica rented a barn, gathered a few horses, and launched her counseling ministry through equine-assisted counseling. For over five years, that small herd—together with the power of a living God—helped many individuals, both young and old, work through deep pain and hopelessness.
In 2022, Jessica and her husband took a leap of faith. They moved to Deerfield, Ohio, cleared land, built a barn, and purchased horses—all to create a place where hope and healing could flourish.
Today, when you visit HopeBrook, you’ll find more than just a serene farm—you’ll encounter an environment prayerfully prepared for you. It's a space where the powerful connection between horse and human unfolds, offering a path toward restoration, peace, and deeper connection—with yourself, others, and God.
