Ellie is an athletic bay quarter horse. She is head mare of the herd and she takes her job seriously. She is very quiet, thinking type of horse with a really good mind. Her favorite thing to do is be with you, hanging out in your space. She loves her job of being ridden and is a fantastic obstacle horse. She is always looking out for the wellbeing of others and is eager to please. Ellie hides her feelings and is willing to do things for you even if she is worried or scared. We interact with her in ways that make her feeling safe and relaxed. She teaches us every day how to be relaxed and focused. Ellie’s past is unknown. She was purchased at an auction by Dayton Wolcott of Wolcott Versatility Horses in NY. He purchased her because of how pretty she is and good confirmation. He spent 6 months helping her become healthy and learn to be safe. She has trauma in her past and at times becomes reactive when triggered. You will quickly discover how much she cares. She is lovingly nicknamed Momma Mare.
