Both of these two mini-donkeys are very sweet and kind. Poppy was named after the poppy seed flower and Petals was named for her brown petal shaped markings. Poppy likes to be the boss of Petals and has specific ideas of where she likes to be scratched. Petals is a little shy at first but with some gentle pats, she quickly is your friend. These two minis have a deep bonded friendship and include you in that relationship. They are gentle, friendly, calm and quiet. Every day we learn from them how to be more present, grounded and patient. They are consistent and steady every day. When they play together, they use this cute grunt and will run. It very cute considering they aren’t fast. Petals and Poppy came together from a loving family here in Portage County Ohio. We affectionately call them Minokeys - a shortened version of “mini donkeys.” Their favorite thing to do is stand together in one place and eat.
