Banjo is a colorful, tri-colored tobiano Quarter Pony with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being a horse—running, exploring, and especially taking his people for slow, thoughtful walks down the trails.

Cautious yet playful, Banjo is both guarded and willing. He can be skeptical of humans at first, but he’s learning to trust one step at a time. Banjo is incredibly sensitive and has strong opinions about how he wants to be treated—he thrives on gentle, respectful connection and clear communication.

When he feels safe and understood, Banjo gives 110% with his whole heart. He’s a hard trier and deeply honest. If he’s unsure or uncomfortable, he’ll let you know—and we value that honesty. In fact, it's what makes him such a powerful part of our counseling team.

Because Banjo can become confused if things move too quickly around him, we work with him in ways that build his confidence, always offering freedom of choice and honoring his voice. His journey of learning to trust mirrors the journeys of many of the people he helps.
